今年的11月13日是王应睐先生110周年诞辰,他的家人一直保存着一张他伏案工作时的照片,王应睐先生在这张照片里架着眼镜,执笔专注地在纸张上记录着什么。我年轻时对王应睐先生的印象也与此照片中的他并无二致。王应睐先生从1958年起任生化所所长,此后的五十多年里即使卸任也始终为研究所发展出谋划策,殚精竭虑。直到最后病倒入院前他都坚持到研究所上班,几十年如一日地在办公室里认真翻阅文献,或仔细研读文件。王应睐
This year’s November 13 was the 110th anniversary of Mr. Wang Ying-lai’s birthday. His family kept a photo of his work at desk. Mr. Wang Ying-lai had glasses in his photograph and focused on what was recorded on paper. My impression of Mr. Wang Yingli when I was young is also the same as that of him in this photo. Mr. Wang Yinglai served as Director of BIOCHEMISTRY since 1958, and even after leaving office for more than 50 years, he always worked hard for the development of the Institute. Until the last illness before admission to hospital he insisted to go to work at the Institute, decades in the office carefully read through the literature, or carefully study the documents.
