Purpose Metadoxine (MTDX) is a new drug for the treatment of alcoholic liver disease. Its chemical name is pyridoxine L - 2 - pyrrolidone - 5 - carboxylate. Toxicological safety evaluation found that the drug can cause sperm in rats decreased, the mating rate and pregnancy rate decreased. The purpose of this trial was to investigate whether its male reproductive toxicity mechanism includes estrogen-like effects. method
