众所周知,抗战期间我国备受侵略者的奴役和压迫,许多领土被侵占,成为了受日伪奴役、压迫的沦陷区。在那里,戏曲演出艰难:剧目需审查、演出被丑化、艺人遭欺凌、戏院受弹压。所以当时许多剧种的发展出现了停滞,有的甚至就此走向了灭亡。但就是在这样艰苦的环境中,在上海有一个剧种却在夹缝中寻发展,在困境中求前进,出现了迅速成熟壮大的势头,这就是越剧。那究竟是什么造就了这样的奇迹呢?如今已逾百岁的越剧又能否从这段历史中找到一些有益的经验与借鉴呢?
