中国科学院与苏联科学院之间的密切合作随着中苏两国人民牢不可破的友谊的增长而日益发展。1955年4月26日至6月23日,应中国科学院的邀请,以苏联科学院副院长И·П·巴尔金院士为首的苏联科学院代表团在我国进行了将近两个月的广泛的科学活动,先后访问了我国首都北京及全国三十多个地区的中国科学院研究机构、高等学校、有关的企业部门和它们的研究试验机构,并进行了野外考察。代表团团员们在各地作了多次的学术报告和通俗科学讲演,举行了多次有关科学和工农业产问题的座谈会;代表团应邀出席了中国科学院学部成立大会,并为大会作了学术报告;最后,代表团还就访问所得,向中国科学院提出了宝贵的建议。
The close cooperation between the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Soviet Academy of Sciences is growing with the unbreakable friendship between the Chinese and Soviet peoples. From April 26 to June 23, 1955, at the invitation of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, a delegation of the Soviet Academy of Sciences led by the Vice President of the Soviet Academy of Sciences, under the leadership of Academician I. Baltimore, carried out extensive scientific activities in our country for nearly two months. Visited successively the research institutes and universities of Chinese Academy of Sciences in China’s capital city of Beijing and more than 30 regions in the country, the relevant enterprise departments and their research and test institutes, and conducted field trips. The delegation members made many academic reports and popular science lectures throughout the country and held a number of symposiums on science, industrial and agricultural production. The delegation was invited to attend the founding meeting of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and made an academic presentation Report; finally, the delegation also made valuable suggestions to the Chinese Academy of Sciences on the proceeds of the visit.
