吸烟不仅仅是个人行为,它是一个重大的社会问题,我国每年死于被动吸烟的人数超过10万。每一个逝去的生命就是一条拒绝被动吸烟的重要理由。卷烟点燃时会产生极高温度(900℃),这时产生的烟草烟雾中含有4000多种化学物质,包含许多有毒有害物质,其中有40多种物质具有致癌性。也就是说,烟雾能在它所接触到的组织中产生癌,因此,吸烟者呼吸道的任何部位(包括口腔和咽喉)都有发生癌的可能。
