Sent by the China National Institute of Standardization and the Ministry of Water Resources and Electricity, in September 1984, we participated in the thirteenth session of the ISO Technical Committee Open Channel Flow Measurement in Bern, Switzerland. With this opportunity, we visited seven hydrological stations and the velocity meter verification workshop, laboratory and data processing room. We were very impressed with some facts about the Swiss hydrological test. Now briefings are as follows for comrades reference. First, the organization.
