利福平有抗结核杆菌的活性,同时也是一种脂溶性抗生素。能渗与很多组织,对革兰氏阳性球菌和阴性杆菌均有抗菌作用。尽管如此,由于担心产生象结核杆菌那样的抗药性,加之药价较贵和有一定的毒性,因而较少用来治疗非结核病性的感染。利福平被认为是最强有力的,并有实用价值的抗葡萄球菌的药物,但临床试验表明,利福平单独使用时,细菌容易产生抗药性,因此必须与别的抗菌药物合用。利福平和苯唑青霉素联用可起协同作用,但在实验研究中,这种协同受到抗生素的浓度和接种细菌两方
Rifampicin has anti-tuberculosis activity, but also a fat-soluble antibiotics. Can penetrate with many tissues, against Gram-positive cocci and negative bacilli have antibacterial effect. However, it is less used to treat non-tuberculosis infections because of fears of drug-resistance like Mycobacterium tuberculosis, as well as more expensive and toxic drugs. Rifampicin is considered the strongest and practical anti-staphylococcal drug, but clinical trials show that rifampicin alone, the bacteria prone to drug resistance, it must be combined with other antibiotics. Rifampicin and oxacillin can play a synergistic effect, but in the experimental study, this synergy by the concentration of antibiotics and inoculated with both bacteria
