纵观20世纪以来中国波澜壮阔的历史,以城市化为核心的现代化无疑是最重要的主旋律之一。然而城市建设的狂飙突进,并没有带来人们精神生活的提高,其标志之一便是作为城市文化重要载体的城市文学并没有获得长足的发展。整个文学叙事的格局中,城市文学只占据很小的分量,在价值评判中更是如此。文学从城市生活中淡出,将使城市的生态和心态处于从未有过的人文危机中。城市文学到底遭遇到哪些创作瓶颈?到底是城市文学缺乏应有的艺术水准和美学高度,还是评判标准出了偏差?城市文学又该如何拓展自己的表现空间与审美格局,创造出独特的话语方式和体系?为了探索上述问题的理论路径,2月19日,由上海文化发展基金会资助、上海市社会科学界联合会主办、《探索与争鸣》杂志社和华东师大文学研究所联合承办的“新世纪城市文学创作的问题与出路”研讨会在上海举行,来自全国的专家学者围绕城市经验的多元表达、城市文学概念的理论溯源、新世纪城市文学创作的实绩与缺憾、城市小说的类型化倾向辨析、城市文学新的美学形态的开掘、城市身份认同与城市文学主体重构等话题展开研讨。现选发部分专家的文章,以期引起学界的关注和进一步讨论。——主持人叶祝弟 Looking at the magnificent history of China since the 20th century, the modernization with urbanization at its core is undoubtedly one of the most important themes.
