LE-7发动机是日本正在研制的用于 H-Ⅱ运载火箭的第一级的高压液氧液氢发动机。就液氧液氢发运机而言,LE-7和使用的 H-1运载火箭第一级LE-5发动机结构相同。为了使其推力提高为 LE-5的八倍,采用了和航天飞机主发动机一样的高压分级燃烧工作方式。
LE-7 engine is being developed in Japan for the first H-II carrier rocket high-pressure liquid oxygen liquid hydrogen engine. The LE-7 and the H-1 Launch Vehicle LE-5 LE-5 engine used are the same in terms of liquid oxygen and liquid hydrogen transporters. In order to increase its thrust to eight times that of the LE-5, the same high-pressure staged combustion operation as the shuttle’s main engine was used.
