莎士比亚本人信仰何种具体的宗教派别,学界至今尚无定论,但其戏剧以独特生动的叙事艺术,不仅忠实记录了当时历史转折时期宗教伦理的嬗变过程,而且也蕴含了他对人与上帝之间信仰伦理关系的独特思考和个性化阐释。借鉴文学伦理学批评和戏剧叙事学的相关理论和方法,从莎士比亚戏剧中所呈现的人与“上帝”之间伦理关系嬗变的角度,作者梳理了负载其个性化信仰理念的宗教文化符号“上帝”在其戏剧叙事中的演绎,挖掘人文主义浪潮冲击波中其不断转变的个性化信仰理念,探讨其在探索人类精神救赎之路上所启示的信仰伦理和道德价值,也可对当前如何修正和改善被世俗精神和物欲追求所致信仰匮乏、道德滑坡的社会道德状况提供一定的启示。
