孟县是河南省有名的丰产县,1956年即提前实现了农业发展纲要亩产400斤的产量指标。今年又高举小麦丰产红旗,出现了空前未有的丰产奇迹。全县共种小麦250,750亩,平均单产603斤,比1957年(因灾减产,每亩单产172斤14两)增产二倍多,比丰收的1956年(每亩单产230斤)增产一倍以上。亩产千斤以上的有城关、缑村、田丈三个乡67个农业社;800斤以上的有一个乡12个社;500斤以上的有6个乡,131个社;400斤以上的有3个乡,72个社。
Mengxian County, Henan Province, is a well-known abundance of the county, in 1956 that is ahead of schedule to achieve agricultural development output of 400 kg per mu yield indicators. This year also held high the red flag of wheat, there has been an unprecedented miracle of high yield. The county a total of 250,750 acres of wheat, with an average yield of 603 pounds, more than doubled in 1957 (due to disaster reduction, yield of 172 pounds 14 per mu), more than double the yield in 1956 (yield of 230 pounds per mu) . There are 67 agricultural cooperatives in Chengguan, Qiongcun and Tianzhang which produce over one kilogram per mu. There are 12 rural cooperatives in more than 800 kilos, 6 townships over 500 kilos and 131 cooperatives. More than 400 kilos 3 townships, 72 clubs.
