三门峡水库是黄河中游干流上以防洪为主的综合利用大型水库,兴建于1957年4月,1960年9月大坝基本建成并开始蓄水运用。由于原设计对泥沙问题认识不足,1966年7月至1973年10月期间,工程曾两次改建。1973年11月至今,水库采取“蓄清排浑”调水调沙控制运用方式,在防洪(防凌)、灌溉、发电等方面取得了巨大的效益。 库区内库岸大部分为黄土类粉质壤土、沙土,塌岸严重,塌岸段总长105公里,其中严重塌岸段长74公里。由于水库冬春季蓄水,受东北风、西北风风浪淘刷和土壤结构松散等因素影响,自水库运用以来塌岸面
Sanmenxia Reservoir is a large-scale comprehensive utilization of flood-based flood control in the middle reaches of the Yellow River.
