Objective: To investigate the curative effect and recurrence of long-term follow-up in patients with vaginal mixed infection treated with integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine. Methods: A total of 312 patients with vaginal mixed infection were randomly divided into treatment group (156 cases) and control group (156 cases). The treatment group was treated with integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine, while the control group was treated with western medicine. The two courses of treatment were 14 d. The clinical efficacy, adverse reactions during the treatment and the incidence of adverse reactions after one year of follow-up were compared between the two groups after treatment. Results: The total effective rate (91.03%) in the treatment group was significantly higher than that in the control group (80.77%) (P <0.05). The serum IL-2, IL-8 and TNF- 0.05). The serum levels of IL-2, IL-8 and TNF-α in the treatment group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P <0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions in the treatment group was significantly lower than that in the control group (P <0.05) The reactions were mild adverse reactions and did not affect the normal treatment. In the treatment group, 7 cases were followed up for one year after the medication was given and in the control group, 24 cases were followed up for 1 year after the medication was given. The recurrence rate of the treatment group was significantly lower than that of the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion: Integrative treatment of vaginal infections in patients with significant effect, fewer adverse reactions, and the recurrence rate is low, worthy of clinical application.
