Developing gas vehicles, reducing dependence on petroleum and reducing automobile exhaust and noise pollution have become a new measure for environmental protection in many countries of the world. At present, nearly 40 countries have started to use natural gas vehicles. The United States, Canada, Japan, Italy and New Zealand have vigorously developed sedans and small trucks that produce liquefied petroleum gas such as compressed natural gas, hydrogen, methanol and ethanol, for a total of 1 million vehicles . Some large and medium-sized cities such as Beijing and Shanghai in China are also actively promoting the use of liquefied petroleum gas as a motive fuel. Today, there are 200 buses in Shanghai and 300 in Harbin using liquefied gas. Shenzhen, Hangzhou and other cities also joined the ranks.
