The theme of the conference is to hold aloft the great banner of Deng Xiaoping Theory and push the cause of building socialism with Chinese characteristics to the 21st century in an all-round way. The soul of the General Assembly is to hold aloft the great banner of Deng Xiaoping Theory. The historic decision made by the General Assembly is to establish Deng Xiaoping Theory as the guiding ideology of our party and to clearly write it into the party constitution.
