农村经济的发展,取决于两个条件:一是提高广大农民的文化素质,培养大批知识型劳动者;二是引导农民充分利用现有的科技知识,将知识信息转化为现实的生产力和社会财富。农村图书事业肩负着这一历史使命。
The development of the rural economy depends on two conditions: First, to improve the cultural quality of the broad masses of peasants and to train a large number of knowledge workers; second, to guide peasants in making full use of existing scientific and technological knowledge to transform knowledge and information into realistic productive forces and social wealth . The rural library undertakes this historic mission.
