8月28日,吉尔吉斯斯坦首都比什凯克秋高气爽,土耳其、阿塞拜疆、哈萨克斯坦、土库曼斯坦、乌兹别克斯坦和吉尔吉斯斯坦六国总统在这里举行第三次突厥语国家首脑会议。这是六国首次在独联体境内召开突厥语国家首脑会议。会议讨论了一系列有关经济和文化合作、和平解决本地区冲突和维护本地区安全等问题。六国总统一致希望为里海沿岸的阿塞拜疆、哈萨克斯坦、土库曼斯坦三国新建的输油管道经过土耳其至黑海,而不是按俄罗斯的意见修到黑海的俄国港口。六国在会后发表的《比什凯克宣言》中表示,将在经济和文化领域以及同毒品、武器走私和恐怖主义作斗争中加强合作,以促进本地区的和平与发展。
On the autumn of August 28, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, has witnessed the third summit of Turkic-speaking countries held here by the Presidents of Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan. This is the first time that the six countries held the Turkic-speaking country summit in the CIS. The meeting discussed a series of issues related to economic and cultural cooperation, the peaceful resolution of conflicts in the region and the maintenance of security in the region. The six countries unanimously hope that the new oil pipeline to Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan along the Caspian Sea will pass through Turkey to the Black Sea instead of being repaired to the Russian ports of the Black Sea. The Bishkek Declaration issued by the six nations after the meeting said they will step up their cooperation in economic and cultural fields as well as in the fight against narcotics, arms smuggling and terrorism to promote peace and development in the region.
