The incidence of neurologic complications in leukemias varies among authors, Kimmelstiel (1943) 6%; Schwab (1953) 20.5%; Кадырова and Рузинова (1963) 71-72%. The leukemia neurological involvement rate has increased year by year, which may be related to the improvement of leukemia treatment methods, the patient’s life span is gradually extended, and the diagnostic accuracy rate gradually increased. Some leukemia patients had no neurological symptoms during their lifetime, but autopsy found pathological changes in the nervous system. Leidler et al. Reported that death from leukemia was found in 83% of autopsy patients with neurological diseases and only 35% of them had neurological symptoms and signs during their lifetime.
