随着现代通信网络和高新技术的发展,新的信息载体不断涌现,图书馆面临一个全新的资源环境。在当前读者服务需求日趋个性化的背景下,图书馆必须加强自身变革应对时代的挑战,必须从图书馆工作的各个方面予以重新定位与组织。采编部作为文献信息的收集、整序与数据加工的业务职能部门,它的各个工作环节都应朝着自动化、网络化的方向发展,从而积极发挥现代技术的优势,最大限度地满足读者对文献信息日益增长的强烈需求。本文将着重谈谈网络环境下采编工作的新模式及其工作人员所必需的素质要求。
