Objective To understand the cognitive level of antibiotics and adverse reactions of faculty and students in higher vocational colleges and provide the basis for guiding the rational use of antibiotics by teachers and students. Methods From October to December 2010, some teachers and students were surveyed and 1500 questionnaires were sent out for data collection and analysis. As a result, 45.76% of people use antibiotics under the guidance of doctors, 47.42% of them recommended their own medication or others, and 60.28% did not know that antibiotic abuse would result in bacterial resistance. Conclusion The teachers and students have some discrepancies in the knowledge of antibiotic-resistant drugs and bacterial resistance, and the popularization and behavioral intervention of the knowledge about the rational use of medicines by teachers and students should be strengthened.
