随着香港制造业式微,不少观塘区的工业大厦都被丢空。本文重点介绍观塘区工业大厦活化的研究结果。根据不同持份者的意见,研究团队提出活化观塘工厦规划方面应有的考虑,如在活化工厦时应平衡工业、住宅、商业及文化活动的土地用途。文章还分析了现时政府对工厦活化的政策和其不足,并提出可鼓励和促进更多的活化工厦申请的政策建议。最后,文章探讨未来观塘工业区的发展方向,并建议一些可行的计划,如发展阁楼工作室住宅。
With the decline of Hong Kong’s manufacturing industry, many industrial buildings in Kwun Tong have been left empty. This article focuses on the research findings of the activation of industrial buildings in Kwun Tong District. Based on the opinions of various stakeholders, the research team proposed that consideration should be given to activating the planning of Kwun Tong industrial buildings such as land use for industrial, residential, commercial and cultural activities when activating industrial buildings. The article also analyzes the current government policies on the revitalization of industrial buildings and their inadequacies, and proposes policies to encourage and promote more applications for revitalizing industrial buildings. Finally, the article explores the future direction of Kwun Tong Industrial Park and suggests some feasible plans for developing loft studio homes.
