2001年,当西北轴承拿出自己拥有知识产权和品牌的产品——铁路轴承与德国FAG集团合资的时候,并未预料到多年以后会被完全吃掉。在经历了三年的亏损之后,西北轴承被动让出股份,退出合资公司,同时还不得不把拥有的产品设计图纸、铁路轴承NXZ品牌、铁道部颁发的生产资质等留给了外商独资公司,从此不能再生产铁路轴承。当中国的神六飞船上天的时候,洛阳轴承——这个为其提供关键部位零件的同行业国有企业,又被这家野心勃勃的德国公司瞄准。不久后,FAG集团的母公司德国合弗勒集团与当地国资委达成协议,要整体收购洛阳轴承。

Soon after, FAG Group’s parent company Germany Heffler Group and the local SASAC reached an agreement to the overall acquisition of Luoyang Bearing.
