由科技日报社主办,发现杂志社承办的首届中国科学家论坛8月30目在北京人民大会堂隆重开幕。全国人大副委员长周光召为大会书面致辞,全国政协副主席朱光亚、科技部部长徐冠华、中科院院长路甬祥、中国工程院院长徐匡迪、中国科协副主席张玉台、国防科工委副主任栾恩杰、科技日报社社长尚勇,国家外国专家局原局长马俊如等有关领导及数十位两院院士、知名科学家和900余位科技界、企业界代表出席了会议。
Sponsored by Science and Technology Daily, the first Chinese scientists forum hosted by the magazine was opened on August 30 in Beijing’s Great Hall of the People. Zhou Guangzhao, vice chairman of the NPC, delivered a speech in writing for the conference. Zhu Guangya, vice chairman of the CPPCC National Committee, Xu Guanhua, minister of science and technology, Lu Yongxiang, president of the Chinese Academy of Science, Xu Kuangdi, president of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Zhang Yutai, vice chairman of China Association for Science and Technology, Shang Yong, president of Science and Technology Daily, former director of the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs Ma Junru and other relevant leaders, as well as dozens of academicians of the two academies, well-known scientists and more than 900 scientific and technological circles and business representatives attended the conference.
