针对牟宗三先生判定朱熹为“别子为宗”的说法,在学术界引起了相当大的争论,支持者有之,反对者更是抨击不断。但我们如果从“道统观”的视角来看,牟先生所主张的“道统观”和朱熹的“道统观”其实是相当一致的。但为何牟先生要判定朱熹为“别子为宗”呢?在此,我们必须深入探析牟先生判定朱熹为“别子为宗”的标准是什么,亦即,如何正确理解牟先生的判定,以便解开学术界争论不休的难题,以及种种因不理解而产生的误解和抨击。
Judging by Mou Zongsan’s argument that Zhu Xi is a “non-son”, there has been considerable controversy among academics. Proponents of it have been attacked by opponents. However, if we look from the perspective of “unification of the orthodoxy”, what Mou Mou advocated is actually quite consistent with that of Zhu Xi.
