党中央、国务院提出在全国范围内开展增产节约、增收节支运动,这是今年全国经济工作的一项中心任务。农垦广大干部和职工热烈响应这一号召,正在结合自身的实际情况,制订增产节约、增收节支的计划和措施,决心把这一运动扎扎实实地开展下去。我国农垦事业有着艰苦奋斗、勤俭建国的好传统。一部农垦的创业史,就是发扬艰苦奋斗、勤俭建国精神的历史。党中央、国务院对于这种精神给予了很高的评价并寄托着厚望。1986年中央八号文件着重指出:“中共中央、国务院希望全国农垦系统的干部、职工和家属同志们,继承和发扬团结奋斗、艰苦创业的革命精神,努力为祖国社会 The Central Party Committee and the State Council have proposed to launch a nationwide campaign to increase output, save income and increase revenue. This is a central task for this year’s national economic work. Nongken cadres and workers responded enthusiastically to this call and are now formulating plans and measures to increase output and save energy, increase revenue and reduce expenditure in line with their own actual conditions and are determined to carry on this campaign in a down-to-earth manner. China’s land reclamation has a hard tradition of hard work and building a prosperous nation. A pioneering history of farming, that is, carry forward the hard-working, thrifty and history-building spirit. The Central Party Committee and the State Council have given high marks and placed high hopes on this spirit.
