美国儿童医疗保健经费不足引起的问题,常因当前医疗保健费用过高的危机而被忽视。第三方支付者的管理人员对改善儿童保险范围的要求充耳不闻,认为目前的医疗一般已经超出范围,使用医疗设备过多亦增加了费用;拒绝保险范围的任何扩大。为了纠正目前和将来不合理的现象,应从整个医疗保健费用中考虑儿童医疗保健事业及其经济效益。
The problems caused by insufficient funds for children’s health care in the United States are often overlooked due to the current crisis in health care costs. Managers of third-party payers have turned a deaf ear to the requirements for improving the scope of child insurance. They believe that current medical care is generally out of scope, and the use of medical equipment has also increased the cost; it has refused any expansion of insurance coverage. In order to rectify the current and future unreasonable phenomena, children’s health care business and its economic benefits should be considered from the whole health care cost.
