目前随着国内外的预焙铝电解槽的大型化,运行电流增大,阳极电流密度提升,使得阳极消耗速度加快,进而阳极更换周期缩短,电解槽热损失增加,换极干扰频繁,稳定性降低,最终表现为电流效率降低,吨铝能耗居高不下。本文中新疆农六师煤电有限公司技术中心及其铝厂、碳素厂(目前新疆农六师煤电有限公司铝厂产能190万吨,是世界单体产能最大的电解铝企业;新疆农六师煤电有限公司碳素厂年产90万吨碳素。)结合国内外现状及其背景研究与应用超高阳极技术,在大型铝电解槽上采用超高阳极替代高度≤650 mm的阳极炭块的工业化试验,结论表明其减少了换极频率、换极干扰以及换极热损失,真正意义上实现了增效降耗节约成本,为电解铝生产企业提供了一套投资少、见效快的电解铝节能降耗技术新思路。新疆农六师煤电有限公司技术中心及其铝厂,针对国内外通用的大型预焙铝电解槽上因阳极炭块设置高度较低,造成换极使用周期短,换极频率高,对铝电解槽稳定运行干扰大的难题,开展了750 mm超高阳极炭块在大型铝电解槽上的配置应用技术研究。
