枸杞多糖(polysaccharide of Lycium barbarum,LBP)为中药枸杞(Lycium barbarum Linn.)果实的有效提取成份之一.具有提高机体免疫力,抑制癌细胞生长繁殖等作用.本研究采用了两项细胞遗传学方法,对LBP的体外遗传损伤保护作用进行了观察.结果表明丝裂霉素C(mitomycin C,MMC)作用于离体人外周血淋巴细胞时,其遗传毒作用可使淋巴细胞姐妹染色单体交换(sister chromatid exchange,SCE)频率明显增高.当LBP在细胞培养液中的浓度达20 μg·ml~(-1)以上时,可使MMC新诱发的SCE频率明显降低,并呈明显的剂量反应
