读到《戏剧报》上郑法祥先生的两篇文章:《谈配角》(去年第12期)和《谈武行》(今年第4期),收益很多。这两篇知识性的文章,在思想上也给人很大的启示。从文章中所谈的配角的作用和武行的难处,可以使人认识到,在一出戏里,无论主角、配角、文堂、武行,都是重要的,缺了哪一个不行,哪一个演不好也不行。一个戏里,人物虽有主要次要之分,但是角色却不应当有大小之分。因为一出戏的艺术完整与否,是和戏里每一个演员的努力分不开的,是和所有演员的互相支持、共同合作分不开的。在这个意义上来看,戏里的主角、配角等,只是工作任务的不同,他们在艺术创作上所负的责任不一样罢了,可是并没有什么等级上的高低之分。在革命文艺工作的岗位上,每个演员的任务是一样的,都应该把自己在戏里担任的角色演得称职,使他们共同
