自从中国历史步入了新世纪以后,特别是世纪初的5个年头,中国电影发展迅速,单就电影产量来说逐年增加,票房也在逐年递增,按理说这些都是好兆头,都预示着中国电影鼎盛时期的来临,但在可喜的数据背后又是什么呢?每年近几百部的电影中只有几部大成本电影是赚钱的,绝大多数的中、小成本电影处于维计或赔钱的状态,是什么使得当代中国中、小成本电影“赔了夫人又折兵”呢?笔者认为有如下一些因素,比如中国电影缺失的三大环节——编剧、融资、发行;中国电影的技术问题;中国电影的美学困境等等
