豫芝四号(原代号“7801”)1989年四月审定,已在全国10多个省市自治区推广。该品种属单杆型,一般株高150厘米,高者可达两米上,茎杆粗壮抗倒。始蒴部位低,开花早,总花期长,一叶三蒴,蒴果肥长。种色正白色,千粒重3.2克,含油量56.9％,蛋白质含量24.8％,抗病、耐溃、耐旱性好,丰产、稳产。生育期95天,属中熟品种。1991年我站试种,夏播亩产148公斤,籽粒饱满、洁白,品质特优,可连年留种不退化。该品种春、夏均可种植。播期5月下旬至6月中旬,夏播应抢时早播。可与甘薯、花生、瓜豆等间作套种,播量每亩0.5公斤。亩留苗1—1.2万株,行株距1.2×0.5尺左右。每亩底施优质农家肥2500公斤,碳铵和过磷酸钙各25公斤,现蕾至初花期追施足量尿素,中期喷0.3％磷酸二氢钾和0.2％硼肥溶液。有条件的可适当浇水。适时打顶可保证有效蒴果的形成和籽粒的饱满,时间一般在初花后春播23天、夏播20天进行,严禁打叶。适时收获脱粒,植株下部三个果节的蒴果微裂即是收获适期,收后小捆晾晒,防止大堆闷垛,以确保籽粒质量。
