积极开展对台经济合作,增进两岸往来,促进祖国统一,是党中央、国务院赋予厦门经济特区的一项重大使命,也是80年代中期以来厦门市经济社会发展的一项战略重点.几年来,厦门市在对台经济合作中取得了很大的成效.到1993年底,厦门市累计批准台商投资项目共928项,合同台资金额19.25亿美元;对台贸易额1993年达1.1亿美元(其中对台出口达7000万美元);在旅游业方面,自1988年到1993年底,累计接待台胞近60万人次.对台经济合作的发展,为厦门市社会经济的腾飞打下了重要的基础.当前,厦门市如何拓展对台经济合作,已成为我们面对的现实课题.本文将就厦门开展对台经济合作的原有优势、当前面对的劣势及再创新优势作一些分析和研究.

Xiamen City has approved a total of 928 investment projects of Taiwan businessmen with a contractual fund of 1.925 billion U.S. dollars by the end of 1993; the trade volume with Taiwan reached 110 million U.S. dollars in 1993 In the area of tourism, the cumulative reception of nearly 600,000 Taiwan compatriots from 1988 to the end of 1993. The economic cooperation with Taiwan has laid an important foundation for the socio-economic development of Xiamen. At present, Xiamen’s economic cooperation with Taiwan has become a real issue we face.This article will make some analysis and research on the existing advantages, current weaknesses and re-innovation advantages that Xiamen will carry out its economic cooperation with Taiwan.
