In order to study the sensitivity of Tibetan miniature swine fever to swine fever virus (CSFV), we tested the changes of body temperature, clinical symptoms, blood CSFV nucleic acid load and tissue in CSFV infected pigs after artificial infection of Tibetan miniature pigs with CSFV Shihmen 1 × 105TCID50 / / Pathological changes in organs. The results showed that the body temperature of pigs on the first day after CSFV infection exceeded 40.0 ℃. The pigs suffered from clinical symptoms such as depression, loss of appetite and constipation on the second day after infection. The CSFVRNA in the blood of pigs on the first day after infection was 1 × 103.79 copies / mL, the highest CSFVRNA content was 1 × 108.58copies / mL on the 7th day after infection and kept at 1 × 108.36copies / mL on the verge of death. The typical pathological changes of swine fever were found in the tissues / organs of pigs after CSFV infection, No abnormality in the tissue / organ. This shows that Tibetan miniature pigs are sensitive to CSFV and can be used as experimental animal models of CSFV infection.
