纵观当下的图书市场,购书网站和连锁书店已占据大半天地,要寻找一家独具特色的书店犹如大海捞针。香港的艺鹄书店注定是与众不同的,没有昂贵房租带来的巨大压力,一切都是那么从容。旨在将已倒闭却赋有“香港文化摇篮”之称的老字号曙光书店的精神延续,艺鹄始终坚持选择在市面上难找到的当代西方文化思潮的英文书籍和发行量较少的中外独立作家作品,尽管顾客属于小众,却得到了许多知名文化人的鼎力相助,组成顾问团体定期为书店带来各类展览、音乐会、读书会等活动。艺鹄,为爱书人提供了另一种选择,亦为挽救城市文化做出了重要的贡献。
