Objective: To study the effect of DDX and tanshinone II_A (Tan) on platelet membrane adhesion molecule expression in rats with arrhythmia. METHODS: The arrhythmia model was established by coronary artery ligation and the expression of platelet membrane adhesion molecules was measured by flow cytometry. RESULTS: DXR and Tan significantly decreased the expression of CD41 and CD62P (P<0.01) and reduced arrhythmia (P<0.05); L-N-nitro-L-arginine methyl ester (L-NAME) inhibited the decrease of tanshinones. The platelet membrane adhesion molecule was expressed to prevent arrhythmia (P<0.05), but this effect of DXR could not be inhibited. CONCLUSION: DXR and Tan prevent arrhythmias by reducing the expression of platelet membrane adhesion molecules.
