英语作为一门国际语言,在当今社会的重要作用显而易见。而且它越来越与我们的生活密不可分了,所以把英语学好势在必行。但是在一些偏僻的农村中学,由于缺乏现代化的教学手段和教学设备,英语课堂往往满堂灌,枯燥乏味,学生毫无学习英语的兴趣,甚至导致厌学情绪。那么,怎么让农村中学英语课堂充满活力?这是一个很值得思考的问题。英语的教学不光是学习一种语言的过程,更是智力培养和训练的过程。教师要最大限度地运用艺术手段来激发学生的学习主观能动性,不断拓宽英语教学活动空间,把英语教学过程变得生动有趣,让教师教的轻松,学生学的主动。教师首先应通过兴趣的激发,思维的引导,技能的培训来调动学生学习英语的积极性,这样让学生站在一个更高的支点上灵活自如地驾驭知识并从中感受到学习的乐趣,从而达到掌握知识提高学习效率的目的。
