相对经济建设的长足发展,精神文明建设的“疲软”和严重滞后,并很可能因此而深远地制约经济持续增长和社会全面进步,相当时间以来,一直是社会各界广为忧虑的焦点所在。在刚刚结束的全国政协八届四次会议上,这个“焦点”也始终是许多与会员们“献计献策,参政议政”的主要议题之一。拒绝“疲软”——“精神文明建设”这只“手”必须真正硬起来,作为本次会议的一个强烈呼声,给记者留下了极为深刻的印象。
Relatively rapid development of economic construction and “weakness” and serious lag in the construction of spiritual civilization are likely to constrain the sustained economic growth and the all-round social progress in a far-reaching manner.
