用堆焊法制造和修理模具是一种具有很大經济价值的新工艺。我厂在1956年末就着手研究,但由于当时設备条件限制,(沒有直流电焊机和不能制造电焊条),就想采用气焊法堆焊模具。后来在“机械工人”(热加工)一九五七年第一期上,看到长春第一汽車制造厂采用与模子材料相同的材料作焊条,表面沒有涂料,用氫氧焰堆焊,同样获得了优良質量,这便給我們用气焊法堆焊模具打下了良好的基础。
