拙作《自摆乌龙·梅开二度·帽子戏法》(载《咬文嚼字》2001年第5期)曾经对“自摆乌龙”的说法作了解释:“本队球员在防守对方进攻时,不慎将球捅进了自家大门,造成失分。”“自摆乌龙”的“乌龙”,是英语。wrong的音译词,义为“错误”。所谓“乌龙球”,也就是“错误球”。龙,乃我国传说中的神异动物,可以上下左右摆动,故有“摆乌龙”的说法。又因为是自己动作失误而失了球,所以就叫“自摆乌龙”了。
