广西是中国西南地区最重要和最便捷的出海通道,但受制于发展时间、基础条件、政策支持等多方面因素,广西北部湾经济区的北海、防城港和钦州三市(以下简称北部湾三市)的港口经济发展现状与东部沿海港口城市相比仍存在很大差距。广西应抓住打造中国一东盟自由贸易区升级版、“一带一路”发展战略和国内自由贸易试验区进一步扩围的历史发展契机,将北部湾三市打造成为依托港口优势,以陆海联运、临港产业和对外贸易为发展动力的经济新增长极。
