在西方个人主义思想影响下,K的“真实自我”成为“理想自我”的祭品,标志着K以极端个人主义的方式确立主体性的实践归于失败。夏目漱石提倡充满浓厚伦理色彩的“道义上的个人主义”主体,而K的主体性是以自我为中心的、不包含交互主体性的单独主体性。这种主体性在实践中必然遭到失败。夏目漱石借由《心》中K的形象塑造,批判了近代日本社会对西方个人主义的囫囵吞枣、盲目仿效,这对当前中国社会具有重要的借鉴意义。
Under the influence of Western individualism, K’s “True Self” became the “Self of Self”, marking the failure of K’s practice of establishing subjectivity in an extremely individualistic way. Natsume Soseki advocates a body of “moral individualism” full of strong ethics. K’s subjectivity is self-centered and does not include the separate subjectivity of interactive subjectivity. Such subjectivity inevitably fails in practice. Natsume Soseki, with the image of K in “Heart”, criticizes the lame euphemism of modern Japanese society for Western individualism and imitates it blindly, which is of great significance to the current Chinese society.
