范华群同志《当代戏剧随想录》一文,在分析戏剧现状之后,着重指出了戏曲不景气的症结所在,呼吁剧作者万不可陈陈相因,用那些肤浅直白的寡味戏去搪塞观众,而要扎实地去深入生活,体察时代的脉膊,了解人民的心理,撷取那些为广大人民最熟悉、最关切的问题为素材,写出无愧于这个时代的思想健康、富有艺术魅力和戏曲特征的好剧本来,以满足观众之渴求,以尽剧作家应尽之责。另外,作者对当代戏剧特征的概括,也有一些新的见解。我们期待有更多的关心戏剧命运和前途的读者广抒己见,把这一至关重要的问题讨论深透,探索出当代戏剧正确的发展途径来。
After analyzing the present situation of the drama, Comrade Fan Huaqun pointed out the crux of the drama and urged the playwright not to be obliged to use the superficial and frank play to prevaricate the audience.
