1945年8月22日,国民党山东挺进军第19纵队进驻青岛市郊区大枣园村,9月底移驻城阳。驻防城阳期间,应邀派代表2人于10月25日出席日军投降典礼。该部派副司令考承先和我(任该部参谋长)前去。时友人侯圣麟已任《青岛公报》总编辑,我们为了顺便去看望他,提前来到市里青岛公报社。在报社,遇到熟人于滋秀(于当时任《青岛公报》采访部主任)。约近10时,我们两人和于滋秀一起乘车来到汇泉广场,考承先去看台就坐,我随于滋秀到记者席就坐。
