第三代移动通信技术作为21世纪无线通信网络最主要的技术,在实现移动网络分组化,提升网络业务实现能力和增值空间的同时,通过更先进的无线技术,为终端用户提供高速接入,使无线用户能够体验到和固定网络宽带用户一样的宽带感受。正是这种分组化和高速接入的特性,使3G对承载网,特别是传输网的要求和2G有较大的不同,为此,采用适当技术构建适配3G的传输网具有重要意义。
As the most important technology of wireless communication network in the 21st century, the third generation of mobile communication technology enables the terminal users to provide high-speed access through more advanced wireless technologies while realizing the mobile network grouping and enhancing the network service realization capability and value-added space. So that wireless users can experience and fixed broadband Internet users the same broadband experience. It is this characteristic of packetization and high-speed access that the requirements of 3G bearer networks, especially transmission networks, are quite different from that of 2G networks. For this reason, it is of great significance to construct suitable transmission networks for 3G using appropriate technologies.
