薛觉先老师溘然远去,不觉间已是四十年了,相别的时间越长,我们则越怀念他,敬仰他。因为他是近代粤剧艺术的薛派宗师,是二、三十年代振兴粤剧、举足轻重的表演艺术大师,他为改革粤剧立下了粤剧史上永远不可磨灭的功勋,他给粤剧艺术宝库增添了珍贵的艺术遗产,可供后人学习、继承和借鉴。薛老师异常热爱粤剧,把毕生精力毫不保留地贡献给了粤剧事业,对于振兴粤剧充满信心。他曾说过:“有讲广州话的人聚居之地,就会有
