珍贵树种是我国林业资源的宝藏。发展珍贵树种,可以扩大树种、林种,增加和丰富绿化内容,从而改变我省树种和木材生产的布局,对于发展我省社会主义大林业,具有重要的意义。我省气候温和,雨量充沛,地形复杂,树种资源丰富,其中有不少速生、优良珍贵树种。但我省发展珍贵树种尚处在初期阶段,对于很多珍贵树种,资源不清,认识不足,乱砍滥伐严重,使得一些珍贵树种遭受绝灭的困境。因此,发掘、保护、发展和利用我省珍贵树种,无论对于生产、教学、设计和科研部门,都是一项重要而迫切的任务。
Precious species are the treasure of our forestry resources. The development of precious tree species, can expand tree species, forest species, increase and enrich the green content, thereby changing the layout of the province’s tree species and timber production, for the development of our province’s socialist forest industry, is of great significance. My province has a mild climate, abundant rainfall, complex terrain, rich species resources, including many fast-growing, fine precious species. However, the development of rare species in our province is still at an early stage. For many precious species, the resources are not clear, lack of understanding and deforestation are serious, leaving some precious species extinct predicament. Therefore, the excavation, protection, development and utilization of precious species in our province are an important and urgent task for the production, teaching, design and scientific research departments.
