什么是人的心理?人的心理的实质是什么?这个问题是心理学研究中的基本理论问题,也是研究一切心理观象之所以产生、发展与变化的根本理论问题。因而,“心理的实质”一章(或一节)是贯彻全书的核心与纲领,是教学中的重点难点之所在。我国心理学研究是以辩证唯物主义为指导思想的,而且在理论体系上受苏联心理学的影响很大,特别在论述“心理的实质”问题时,几乎都引用了许多苏联心理学教科书上的概念与理论。这无疑是有益的。但其中有些概念由于是翻译过来的,比较难以理解,如本文所谈及的“映象”。实践证明,对这一关键性概念的理解正确与否,直接关系到对“心理的实质”这一根本问题的理解。本文正是从这点出发去追溯其源和探讨其意义的。
