Partial Least Squares (PLS) method combined with UV-Vis spectrophotometry for rapid analysis of blackcurrant pigment content. The effects of principal components on the quantitative prediction ability of P L S were discussed. The content of black currant pigment in the calibration samples and the prediction samples was quantitatively predicted.
