车辆起步时对离合器控制提出了很高的要求。传统的机械式换档机构中,离合器的操纵十分复杂,例如,起步时要求驾驶员根据不同道路环境条件,负载等各种因素,准确判断离合器半接合点的位置,以保证车辆的平稳起步;同时,还要求离合器踏板,油门踏板的操纵动作的配合准确、协调。离合器复杂的操作要求很容易造成离合器操作不当,造成车辆起步过程中的冲击及磨损等。针对这些缺点和不足,车辆上正逐步用自动操纵离合器取代手动操纵。
