徐訏小说中对女性具有独特的写作视角和人文关怀,徐訏作品中的女性意识有“圣女”意识、“侠女”意识和“厌女”现象。他笔下的圣女脱俗而痴情,侠女智勇双全。徐訏对女性的态度是崇拜与仇恨并存,他眼中的女人具有纯粹和诗性的特质。徐訏用大量作品去爱女性、恨女性,他通过写女性所得出的哲学命题具有人类文化本体论意义。和曹雪芹相似,徐訏对女性的观照来自于他本人对女性的特殊的情结,徐訏的美学思想影响了他对女性的态度,形成了他思想中独有的女性美的标准。

His saints are refined and infatuated with love, chivalrous wisdom and courage both. The attitude of Xu Xu to women is the coexistence of worship and hatred, and the woman in his eyes has pure and poetic qualities. Xu Yong used a large number of works to love women and hated women. The philosophical propositions that he obtained through writing women have the meaning of human cultural ontology. Similar to Cao Xueqin, Xu Ying’s observation of women came from his own special complex with women. Xu Mi’s aesthetic thoughts influenced his attitude toward women and formed the standard of the unique female beauty in his thought.
